Anonymous: I'm pretty sure Matanov is not under SAMs so people can write to him, right? Does anybody know if people are writing to him? I think that would be nice, to keep his spirits up since he is not doing well. I picked you for this ask cos your blog has high visibility :-)

Yes, as far as I know people can write to him! I agree, that would be a very nice and thoughtful thing to do. Here’s his address if anyone would like to write:

Khairullozhon Matanov, ID# 65363
Unit GSE, Room #107
PCCF
26 Long Pond Road
Plymouth, MA 02360

Someone in a Facebook group recently said that she had written to him and had received a reply.  He is being kept in solitary confinement and says that he very much appreciates the support he’s getting (from that I assume that he’s receiving mail from a few people)  He is just worried about his family and in particular his mother as her health is not good.  He is also upset as he sent money home to her every month or so but now that he is in jail he can’t help her out anymore & worries about how she will get by without the money he used to send.
